| Termite Baiting Program |
(7 of 7) |
As
an alternative to traditional liquid treatments,
several pesticide manufactures have developed termite baiting programs
that Double D Termite and Pest Control can install at your home. These
methods are still new to the pest control industry but they are
showing favorable results. Talk to your trained Double D representative
to learn more about baiting and to see if your home would be a good
candidate for it.
Here's
how it works. Double D does a thorough inspection of your home to
determine termite activity. Termite bait stations are then installed
around your home. On a regular basis Double D inspects the stations
for activity. If termites are found, special slow-acting bait is
strategically installed in those stations. The termites will spread
this unique substance throughout their colony, causing elimination
or suppression.
Worker termites constantly forage far and wide, looking for wood
to feed the colony. When they find food - like that contained in
the monitoring bait station - they leave special scent trails to
summon their nest-mates to the food.
Double D
wants you to know that whatever method you choose, traditional liquid
treatment or baiting program, we are here to serve you. We
know the decision can be difficult with chemical manufacturers spending
millions of dollars promoting their method as being the best. We
at Double D understand that our customers may choose a treatment based
on advertising material financed by the manufacturer. However, you
should be aware of the benefits and effectiveness of each treatment.
We know you will have questions such as:
- Will termites find the bait?
- How long Will it take to work?
- Why does baiting cost more?
- Will weather affect the bait?
- How often do you need to monitor the stations?
- What environmental impact, if any, will ensue?
Let our trained representative walk you through this maze and help
you setup the correct treatment for your home. Comparison-shopping
is good, so get all the facts by calling Double D Termite and Pest
Control today! We are here to answer your questions.
